2002 Land Rover Defender LHD 90 Td5 Van. This is a Dutch commercial specification Land Rover Defender 90. Because the road taxes in Holland are amongst the highest in Europe (regular road tax on a Land Rover 90 would be around €1200 euro per year) the Dutch Douane (customs) allow exemptions for commercial vehicles, ie a mode of transport used within a business.
To correctly comply with the Dutch law, the Defender 90 has to have some modification, with an increase in roof height, to attain a predetermined measurement from the inner floor of the truck to the roof. Only passengers are allowed in the front of the vehicle and no seats or passengers in the back whatsoever.
No rear side windows are allowed either.
